Cannot Update Wi-Fi Software to 4.01

Over a month and no solution??? Specifically got the watch for Spotify and can’t use the feature so frustrating

By the way, I also tried the workaround with downgrading to 5.07, but the download for WiFi 4.01 was never triggered.

Last year I already returned my FR 745 because support couldn't help me out and get Spotify working on my watch.
Would be really disappointing if I have to return this one also, because without WiFi I cannot use Spotify.
I purchased this model (and 745 previously) especially for Spotify.

So a solution would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I sent my watch to Eemnes and they updated the wifi for me.

What's the version now? If the support can update, should be possible for everyone to do it

Garmin-Kevin It has been over a month. I am now getting expired download messages--so no more music.  Do you guys have an update on when this bug will get sorted out? I would love to have music again on my daily workouts.

I've tried all the solutions in this thread several times without any luck. Even though the watch says SW 5.07 or 6.04, garmin express still says 7.11 when plugged in to PC. And no Wifi update. As soon as i upgrade to 7.11 the Wifi update i avalible in express. But nothing happens when i try to install it..

Please fix this, i upgraded from 745 to get livetrack without the need for my phone on my long runs. Now i still have to carry my phone to listen to music..

With this bug, the 945 LTE does not provide the feature set as advertised (no Wifi sync, no Spotify). There is no proper solution for customers who want this features, other than returning the 945 LTE and buying a different watch...

We do not currently have any new information on this report just yet but hope to have something to address this in a future software update.  At this time, we do not have a timeline for the release of this future software update, but hope to have something released soon. Thank you for your patience with us while we work to investigate this issue.

That's not really an update. Can't be that hard to create a path for our devices to get latest wifi firmware.

Looks like new updates incorrectly assume firmware for wifi or other components are up to date. Update process probably needed some logic for if x version needs upgrade to x.1 before all the way to most recent.

This is pretty basic stuff.
