Cannot Update Wi-Fi Software to 4.01

Pre upgrade to 7.07 Wifi was working fine. After the update the watch won't see any WiFi networks. Doesn't matter if it is 5GHz or 2.4, b or g, or open or closed. I noticed my Wifi firmware was stuck at 3.00. The latest firmware is 4.01. For some reason my watch is not getting that version Is there a manual download link for Wifi version 4.01 anywhere?

I had to downgrade manually to a non beta version. Then waited a few hours and Wifi 4.01 installed without a problem. After Wifi was updated to 4.01 and upgraded the OS back to 7.07 and wifi is working fine now.

As indicated by the colleague, I downgraded to version 6.04, then updated wifi to 4.01 and reinstalled 7.07

Hi Garmin-Kevin, this is the same issue I reported in 7.11.

Is it possible to downgrade to 6.04 now from 7.11, or was that only by leaving the beta channel? I have no wifi.

I had the same problem, and downgraded to v6.04, then update to wifi 4.01... and then updating to v7.11 works. Be sure to rename and use the GUPDATE-507.GCD file. I could not get the other .GCD to work.

If you would like to revert to the last public release software, place the GUPDATE-507.GCD file in the \Garmin folder and rename GUPDATE-507.GCD to GUPDATE.GCD. Disconnect the device to install. NOTE: If you revert to an older version of software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults.

dunc, please let us know if following the steps in the post from wmozell allows you to successfully update the wifi and then get you back to running the 7.07 (or 7.11) sw, as Chema_Sayas (and others) mentioned above.
