[Up Ahead] - Don't works correctly

Hi,

Two race using navigation and up ahead with missing data

I use garmin connect to set the kms and the type of point, but when race start, the watch start to beep, beep, beep and go skipping all (or almost) data points.

The las race from 19 datapoints only worked 1 and finish line...

Every 5 kms (aprox) there is a data point

Before start the race, all data it's available

But only 2 data points of 19 works

Please fix this

    Hello,

    Thank you for taking your time to do that for me. I do see the concern. Is that the only course that does this or do the other courses on your watch that I saw from the video do this as well?

    • I not use this feature for a short race, I have this issue con 2 tracks 101km and 70 kms both tracks are downloaded from wikiloc, in Spain most raíces upload this tracks to this website to share with users

    I just upload another video, in this video watch beep and skip waypoints

    Thank you for letting me know. We cannot confirm that uploading courses from third parties can come through correctly on our end. I don't have any issues with this regarding courses that we have already in our program.

    And how can upload a race tracks to add waypoints if official race tracks are not form Garmin website?

    In Spain race organizar upload the tracks to websites to share

    You should be able to create your own way points in the app and you can look at the race that is given to you to add them at those points. If you add those waypoints on our end (as in create the full race on our app manually), do those way points have any issues showing on the watch?

    I think I’m not understanding this.

    If what you’re telling me is to import the track provided by the race organization into Garmin Connect and then add the waypoints there… the result is that it doesn’t work properly, as I’ve shown you in the videos.

    If what you mean is that I should manually create the race in Garmin Connect… that doesn’t make sense, how am I going to manually create a 70 or 100 km mountain race when the organization already gives you the course ready to download???


    For example:

    Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB): 176 km
    Sur les Traces des Ducs de Savoie (TDS): 146 km
    Courmayeur-Champex-Chamonix (CCC): 101 km
