Then go buy a watch that has this feature. The FR255 was never advertised as having Training Readiness as a feature. I don't know why you all keep requesting this?

But not for the bucks you spent on your fr255. Low price—limited functionality. This is easy to implement, but not advisable…
Fans would also like to see a product that works well in the basic scope of a sports watch: a good heart rate monitor, no hanging up, no data distortion, no data transfer to the server, no need to wonder…
I'm not sure where Garmin stands, you have the Venu Series that provides some generic health advices but not much data analysis (I owned one before), and then you have the Forerunner watch that gives a lot of data but are more aimed toward athletes. I would like a health tracker with tons of data but all automated and not just based (mostly) on the manually recorded bike/trail/run, yes probably I should look into Google, Fitbit but I find the quantity of data on Garmin just great, it's just annoying for me to record my activities (I'm not even very athletic) and I also think it doesn't represent my general day and whole well being

Fine, but one may be ok with his own watch and could buy the single extra/new software feature (like any other app in Connect IQ) instead of change the whole device. Also, it would be another little step towards sustainability (www.garmin.com/.../).

i expect Training Readiness in 255
I agree it doesn't make any sense that Training Readiness is still not available for the Forerunner 255 series while it was added for the Forerunner 955, Fenix 7 and Epix gen. 2 which all were released also in early/mid 2022. I'm aware these watches were a bit more expensive when launched but still hardware wise the 255 series should be able to offer this. Please be loyal to your customers.
Please, please add this to a future software version Garmin. Everyone that wanted to buy a 265/965 has done so and why limited a watch purely software based.
Fenix 7 series - launch date: 18/January/2022
Epix Gen. 2 series - launch date: 18/January/2022
Forerunner 955 - launch date: 1/June/2022
If the forerunner 265 have it, why not the 255? isnt a cheap watch neither, the only difference with the 265 is the amoled panel
265 was launched in 2023 instead of 255 in 2022 but don't get me wrong I fully agree with you see also my earlier post above.
A similar thing happened with the Forerunner 245 when 255 launched. The 245 lacks features (HRV, Morning Report) that the 255 has. It does need to mentioned though that there is quite some years in between 245 and 255 though (245: April 2019) vs (255: mid-2022). I made the switch because of those two things + Garmin Pay, better heartrate sensor, GPS Multiband.
