“No sleep data detected last night”

I'm encountering the same exact issue unfortunately. 

Same issue a few times already this week. (both before and after moving to 20.29)

I made a soft reset yesterday. Sleep data was detected last night. But I don’t know if problem has been solved, because it happens 2-3 nights a week. I recommend you to do same thing, then we can tell the results… I hope someone from Garmin is reading this post. 

I had already done a soft reset, after no sleep was registered for two nights. It did register sleep the next two nights, but not the third.

I am sorry to hear that. Last night was my fifth night with correct data detection after a soft reset (maybe sixth, not sure). I thought the problem was solved. But now your message makes me think it may come back again  . Still, I recommend a soft reset for users who have the same problem until garmin makes an announcement about it or an update fixing problem

Yes.. 10 days later than a soft reset, garmin didn’t detect my sleep data again. Soft reset is not a solution apparently. 

Same here since 20.26. I’ve noticed that only nights over 9 hours of sleep are not detected. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but it’s the case for me. Anyone else?

My watch tracked fine again for over a week, and then nothing this morning.... I slept in this morning, and probably got over 9hrs of sleep. So your theory could be true.

Checked my other nights, logged correct. None of the nights are over 9hrs.
