Heart Rate Incorrectly Logged - How can I adapt this in Connect?

I just did I did a 2.15 hour bike ride covering over 300 m of vertical and 50.2 km. I wanted to know how I could adjust the darker so that it's actually recognised in my training effect because the 4Runner 255 only recorded me as having resting heart rate during the whole ride. This means it doesn't think I've got any training effect for that ride and I'm now in recovery. Is there any way to fix this data?

  • I have been having the same problem with my forerunner 255 for weeks now, where it is not accurately recording my heart rate during any high intensity exercise. It is skewing all my metrics including training effects, training status, training load, VO2 max etc. I emailed Garmin Support nearly 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing back.
    I have been able to borrow a chest HR strap for a couple of my runs and this seems to work, but the wrist based tracking is off by anywhere from 40-60 bpm at least.
