Swimming training effect accuracy?

My swim activities give a very Low Aerobic TE - mostly about 1 - 1.2 for a typical session of about 30-45 minutes (500-1000m). I tried to adjust max HR and HR zones for swimming separately  although i hit on 4-5th zone, garmin still shows bery little TE and low aerobic activity with no  anaerobic. Does firstbeat use an algorithm for running only? Any ideas?
