Can't Delete Race Event from Watch

More 18.22 woes...

I've read a few other threads regarding this and have come up empty.

I had two race events in my calendar, both created by me, and kept private. I deleted one of those events from the GC app today. It is no longer in the calendar, the course was deleted and it no longer shows up under races & events in the app.

It will not however, get off of my watch. I have deleted the race glances altogether. I've done a soft reset, plugged it into GE. Put the glances back on the watch and this stupid race is still there. I've deleted events before and this hasn't happened....

Is there no way of deleting it? Do I just live with it until end of April... I really do not want to do a full reset on the watch.

I have the same problem with my 255. In the past it normally got erased when synced. Are you a beta user tester on your watch? I am and maybe this is causing the problem.

I've had this as an ongoing issue since the function was released on the 955/965. I even tried editing the calender.fit file that seems to contain the date when I had a race that wouldn't vanish but that also didn't work. I havent been able to work out what particular issue / difference with an event leads to different actions as all my events are created the same way.

Only solution is a full reset with all that entails...or wait till date passes if its not to far awa=y.

Thank you for that. I don’t follow the daily suggested workouts so maybe I’ll just ignore it :)

Following. I am having this issue with my 965 and I find it annoying because now I no longer get daily suggestions (Always says nothing for today, just tomorrow and the next day are to be rest days) grr. I used to like the suggestions.

Not ideal , but if it is important the only work around I have found is a reset. See my post above with a way to at least have the activity screen settings saved and copied back.
