What is this running alarm - it appeared after updating to 14.13

No Idea what it is, but I am also having this issue. Looked into changing various settings, alerts, and notifications, but nothing has helped...

it seems it could be related to a speed sensor. But I've never had one or connected to one. I reached out to Garmin and they opened a case about this but I never heard back from them.
Out of the blue my watch also used 70% battery while I was sleeping last night, running alarms are sounding out at the wrong heart rates, music volume doesn't work and I could go on. The FW on this watch is in shambles. I actually don't think they will ever fix it. There're too many fires to make me think that they're actually trying. Pretty sure most of the software team is already working on the next watch they're bringing out and will leave this watch in the dirt. I had a good run with Garmin but this will probably be my final Garmin product.

The software is in shambles, so well put! This isn‘t just a few random bugs here and there - the whole thing is completely falling apart. They have no control over their code. Whenever they change something they break 5 completely unrelated things, I can only imagine what kind of spaghetti code nightmare the FW is! I‘m so angry. I invested not only in the watch but also in a premium Garmin HR monitor strap. Wasted money. This watch will most likely never be salvaged. I‘m so glad I didn‘t waste even more money on the outrageously expensive 955 which has the same FW and the same problems. Just have a look at the 955 forum right now.

Spaghetti code nightmare is a great expression and I think you are right about it.

I actually think their Garmin Connect backend is a big part of this problem. I'm certain it's messing up our watches, because I have issues that appear out of the blue while not having connected the watch physically to my pc, but only synced through the mobile app.

Garmin support actually responded today. They're puzzled about the notification but according to their database nobody else has experienced this. Guess they don't follow their own forum. Their recommendation is to reset the watch (I'd rather not, no) and if that doesn't solve it, I will have to send it in for further examination.

Just like you I've given up hope. Hey, at least it's not a car we're writing off. But it's a shame 'cause this looked like a great watch.

I've added and configured new activity and it helped, alarm dissapear. Probably old settings were not compatible to new firmware version...
