The ski activity on my Forerunner 255 is adding the time & distance travelled on each ski lift to the following run. When I get on the lift, it correctly finishes the previous run, and shows 'last run' stats while on the lift, but when I start the next ski run, it changes to 'current run' and already includes the time & distance from the lift I just got off. Interestingly it ignores the lift ascent and correctly records ski descent only.
Occasionally it will correct mid-lift and remove the time & distance of the lift so far but the remaining lift time & distance will still be included in the following run. This can be seen in the attached image showing elevation vs distance, see lifts 2-4 from 5 km onwards. It seems to happen when the lift descends briefly before ascending again. I would expect the lifts to show as vertical lines, ie elevation increasing, but not distance.
I have 'auto-run' turned on. I've seen similar bugs reported elsewhere for other watches, but not quite the behaviour, so figured it worth reporting here also.
