I just got a new Forerunner 255 and Run Dynamics pod for Christmas. When looking at my summary stats the Vertical Ratio appears to be missing, is there is reason for this? I am running latest firmware 13.21

Can the foot pod do vertical ratio? My HRM-Run shows it there but surely it needs to sample from the torso and not a foot
Its not a footpod. The Garmin RD Pod is attached to the center of your waistband on your back and should report on the following:
ahhh I always assumed these were footpods because I never looked into one enough as no need.
Yes, the Vert data should be there. I'd assume it is also missing from graphs? It should be above the GCT graph if presented the same way as data from the strap.
It looks like a bug to me as Vertical Ratio is simply, vertical oscillation divided by stride length. The pod is capturing all the basic metrics but Garmin Connect is not telling me what the ratio is. Cant see or find any option to present this graph either.
When you get the data it works the same as GCT / GCTB with the graphs, in that there is a drop down to see either ratio or raw oscillation (e.g. in cm if all is set to metric).
Thats what I thought but I cant see any option for Ratio, this is what I am seeing:
The only charts available to me are:
