5 day battery life (NO music or GPS)

I've been getting battery life nowhere near the stated 14 days on my FR 255 Music (Software v12.27)

Yesterday at 2pm, I charged to 100%. Today at 2pm, my battery had decreased to exactly 80%.

SP02 is only turned on at night time. I didn't use GPS or listen to music.

Extrapolating, this means that my battery life is 5 days, where Garmin quotes 14.

How can I prove to Garmin that my battery is bad and initiate a swap?

Night time SPO2 readings is causing the battery drain. Best to switch it to on demand readings.

Not to be rude, but asking people to use a stock face is poor. Might as well buy $199 Coros Pace 2 in that case. If the drain is due to 3rd party watch faces, Garmin should fix it.

No music transfer.

Assuming I sleep for the same amount each night and raise my wrist about the same number of times, why would any other day be significantly different, and therefore the drain non-linear?

Software v12.27, Just Enduro with seconds updates turned off.

Not drain, but discharge curve is nonlinear. And temperature dependent.

First thing they will advise is - use a stock watch face...

That's like saying if your newly installed aftermarket supercharger on your car uses too much gas, Honda should fix it.

Where do you buy your after market supercharger from? (not from honda)
Where does Honda advertise using after market supercharges? (they will drop warranty if you do)

Where do you get 3rd party watch faces? (garmin connect)
Who advertises the usage of 3rd party watch faces? (garmin)

Technically speaking, 3rd party watch faces that only update once every minute should offer better battery life compared to the stock ones that update every second.
