Mine has also dropped like stone since around Sept 23rd-ish - I wake up every day playing the "how low will it go" game. It's super annoying because it's been going on so long now it's affecting…
Could it be a seasonal thing?

Same.. and my training status from 'Productive' becomes 'Strained' just after waking up from night sleep, even tho I exercised regularly in these 2 weeks, the status is still the same...,…

I’m having the same issue! I started a 2 week marathon taper about a week ago now, and my HRV status had been low for a little while before that… figured it was my weeks of peak mileage, though I didn’t feel that fatigued. Nor it’s just gotten worse and worse and even as I rest/lighten up mileage big time for my taper. It’s freaking me out!
My run cadence has also been way off (like 90 spm lol) since an august update. I’ve been in touch with support several times about this, and they told me it would be fixed with this update (it wasn’t). All pretty frustrating!!

Agreed. Funny t the body battery stress measure shows low stress. The HRV is low and thus as you say it messes up the Training Status despite a low training load etc
Same here since 12.23 and 12.27
My HR doesn't work correctly anymore neither (especially on interval sessions) see my other post under HR Problem topic
