Forerunner 255 Series Button Issues

Really? So the 2 right buttons on a 255 are supposed to be 2-step buttons? I have a 235 here right next to me and none of the buttons feel like 2-step buttons. Or did you mean 245?

All 5 of my buttons have a distinct half then full click. The buttons are 'soggy' but it does feel intentional in the context you mention.

Weird! All 5 of mine have about 1mm of travel to a 'stop' then another 1mm of travel to a 'click'

To me its the half stop that feels soggy - the half to click step feels quite tactile.

Although no button feels quite alike.

My left 3 buttons feel like normal 1 step buttons as every watch in the history of watches has. My dive watches, my 235, my wife's vivoactive 3 and 4, etc etc.  Totally normal single press feedback. The right 2 buttons feel "wrong" with a half-step that makes me actually miss the actual press quite often because I have to press a lot harder to make it register.

I agree the half press feels very strange.

This is the first Garmin watch I have had with this weird two-step press. I'd prefer a nice solid single click like the Fenix 6 or 7.

It looks like there is a lot of variation from watch to watch.
