Does the FR 255 have a lens/glass size common with another model?

A Fenix 6 Pro protector will fit but its about 4 to 5mm too small so it covers the display but not the black area between screen and bezel.

Thanks for the info.  It does appear that is the closest fit without being too big.  I ended up going with that size, which provides sufficient protection until actual 255 size are available.  For reference the Fenix 6 pro screen protector is 37mm in dia. and the 255 lens is 40mm.

You are sure screen is 40mm? Because garmin site says 33mm and I ordered mine and want to order screen protector now.

Yes the actual glass (Garmin calls it the lens) is 40mm based on my measurement.  33mm is just the display size which doesn't include the black edges.  That's what makes finding a compatible one so difficult because Garmin does publish the lens size and most screen protectors don't publish its diameter, but rather the compatible watches.
