You can check your Amazon account history and it will show it there was a 3rd party supplier. Don't know when the update will arrive as the release times after ROW updates have always varied.
Yeah. Looks like a third party. I guess no way to tell if that third party got it from the US or somewhere else, but it looks like the company is based in New York. It would be nice to know these things before making the purchase. I will try calling Garmin to find out when they will update. Thanks everyone.
Call Garmin and give them the serial number. They should be able to tell you which version you have. If it's an APAC version and that's a concern for you, I'd call Amazon and explain the situation. They're pretty good about granting returns.
I think on the connect web site or garmin express on your phone, you may be able to see the product #. you can email garmin and they can tell you if you have the apac. I have a feeling you do though. If you still have the box, it will be on the box.
