Anyone else get these elevated sections for the first 5-10 mins of their run? Is it normal? I've been running long enough to have a pretty good feel for my HR and it certainly doesn't feel like I'm going straight into Z3. Don't get any similar behaviour for any other activity.
I've gone from licking the touch points on the HRM to using electrode gel, doesn't seem to make any difference. I've tried cross-referencing the HR data from my OHR (Epix Pro) with my HRM but all that's done is exposed how unreliable / useless the Epix's OHR is (see my posts here).
Have used a strap as primary HR recording device and haven't noticed anything as obvious as this before.
