HRM Pro running dynamics at beginning of run

I have recently bought the HRM Pro (paired with Fenix 7). The issue I have is that for the first 1-2 minutes if my run, the running dynamics are not recorded. Is this normal? Iv tried reconnecting to both phone and watch, and yes the strap is being worn the correct way. Thanks.

    There are two Running Dynamics screens available (on my f5+ and f6X so I would think the f7 too) in the Run activity that can be added. Enable them for your Run activity and see if they display and data when you start recording the activity.

    These screen show the available Running Dynamics data in real time so even with the activity paused before you start recording they should show something if you walk around a bit.

    You don’t understand.
    Before 9.14 software I was using Run Power widget from Garmin Labs and result was the same, sometimes power reading started from the beginning of activity, now in software 9.14 Power is built in and I have the same symptoms.
    When I was using Fenix 6X with the same HRM-Pro and RunningPower widget from Garmin I never had such symptoms, running power was recorded from the beginning of activity.

    Couple other people reported the same problem, looks that it is some problem with Fenix 7 itself.

    I understand what you are saying. What I was wondering was if it was possible to see where between the HRM_Pro and the final recorded activity the failure is.

    By seeing the data in real time at the start of the activity you may be able to establish if the fenix 7 is not receiving/ignoring the data from the HRM-Pro or receiving the data but not adding it to what will become the save record of the activity.

    If you are participating in the Alpha/Beta program and have a bug report logged this kind of detail may help Garmin track down the problem. If I had a fenix 7 I would try this.

    Now I get it.
    Next time I will check it, set up one of the screen to see real power data and let you know.
    I’m not participating in beta program, but this issue I’m observing whole time, since I bought Fenix 7 also on official software.

    But you have 9.14a installed? Problems with the alpha/beta program should be reported in the alpha/beta forums as that is where Garmin are directing their attention. If you're going to install alpha/beta software then you really should join the program and post related problems in that forum. It is important for Garmin to know that your problem persists in both public and alpha/beta software. That way, Garmin has a more complete picture and with the additional information provided by way of the additional logging file, can work more quickly to a fix.

    You don’t get it.
    It is not relevant to software version installed on the watch, I had the same symptoms on all previous versions installed, doesn’t matter betta or official.
    It is definitelly issue between Fenix 7 and HRM-Pro strap.
    With Fenix 6 I had proviously everything works fine.

    Not only me is reperting same issue.

    Hi. Yes, I have these on the running screens on my watch. At the start of the run, when this issue was occurring, they were not displaying the dynamics either (i.e. running power on the watch was 0).

    Have the same.
    Power value, showed after one and half minutes and all other parameters start to be visible.

    I’ve reported this issue on Fenix 7 beta forum yesterday.
