I had a first generation Vivofit with no skin issues. I could shower, sweat, swim, and wear it 24/7, basically no problems. But I upgraded to the Vivofit5, now I have itching, redness, and irritation on the band area. What’s going on? I see the complaints but I see no resolution. Why hasn’t Garmin addressed this issue?
I manage to awkwardly fit the computer part into the first generation band which we all know it not very secure. One of the reasons I liked the upgrade was for the more secure band. I shouldn’t have to be inconvenienced for the amount I paid. Please come up with a solution.
Ideas: Either make a first generation band that the device can fit in or use the same materials from the first generation to make new bands with the better latching.
