Garmin Vivoactive 4s not recording golf as an activity.

My Garmin vivoactive 4s is inconsistently tracking golf. More often than not the activity just does not upload to my calendar - maybe one in three rounds will load - but the rest, none. My scorecard appears and I can see the activity on my Garmin Connect screen - but on my calendar, nothing. In fact it just shows it as walking.

I am pretty active on Strava so it is incredibly frustrating when I can't log the activity and get accurate data on either platforms.

Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this? All my stat recording is turned on, etc.

Garmin-Kevin Please add me as well. New Vivoactive 4S, played 4 rounds but only one recorded as an activity.

I also can record score cards but not activity where it shows time played or health stats during activity.

For the longest time, a watch reset before a round would be enough to make it register the activity, The last two rounds, it did not matter and no activity was recorded.

This is taking way to long to fix. I first opened a ticket on this in November of last year.

Garmin-Kevin I already have a case open since November (Reference ID:18033952K1) where I was told that 5.80 fixed the issue, which is not what was reported her in the forums and not my experience either.

Hi Garmin-Kevin please add me to this case as well. I have an iPhone and VA4 and I am experiencing the same issue.

The beta 6.02 does not fix the issue. I just golfed today and no activity was recorded.

Probably for a couple of months now when I finish and sync my round of golf it only uploads the scorecard to my feed but doesn’t include the activity separately as it used to I.e distance, time etc. This would then upload to strava also. I’ve tried everything and I can’t seem to get it to work. Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas? I’ve already tried to go into golf settings on my watch put theirs no activity tracking slide as their seems to be in other posts. Any help appreciated.

Hello could I be added also Garmin-Kev. I am also iPhone and VA4 with sams issue.
