Just updated to SW 3.80 recently. Now I notice that my Vivoactive 4 is leaking battery like crazy, like 30% per day without doing any activity compare to 10-15% per day previously.
Anyone experiencing this issue with SW 3.80?

Yes, I have noticed an increase in battery drain rate with 3.80. The 3.80 "upgrade" happened Saturday around 5PM. I have not changed anything else. Watch face is Quattro. Pulse Ox is only on…
The same. I noted that my battery is draining a lot faster than normal. It went from 100% battery to 47% within 24 hours. I didn't do any activity. whereas before the update I was able to go 3-4 days with…
My Watch setup:
all apps and firmware are updated to the last version
Heart rate on
Pulse ox off
Bluetooth on
Notifications on
GPS not used
Music not used
Watch face one of the standard ones with hands (displaying heart rate, date and steps taken)
Backlight 20%
Auto lock off
Respiration on
Body battery on
I charged it fully yesterday at 10 am (about 30 hours ago and it is at 52%, something like 40-45% in one day).
I installed the battery app last night and its at 1.37%/hr right now., so that's about 3 days unless the percentage per hour goes up, which it has, already, from .86%, to 1.10%, to where it is at now...
I had problems with the battery draining. However I foun the problem was a watch face that I had installed but then changed back to my usual without uninstalling it. I’ve since uninstalled the watch face and deleted it and touch wood battery life has been back to normal.
What watch face was it?
Thank you. That's not one I have but good to know.
This works at my watch. But when i start a activity it keeps draining fast until i do this restart again.
I am experiencing the same thing, and very frustrating/disappointing as a longer battery life was one of the main reasons for moving from my Samsung to a Garmin.
There's also no way (that I know of) to track where the battery drain originates from.
Starting on 100%, doing a 30min run with GPS only drains 2%. A 120min+ run with GPS only drains 10-20%.
Yet, from 50% at 5:30am I am now on 18% at 1pm?
Exactly. 56 hours from fully charged, mine is at 23%. That with nearly all features disabled. What is the point of a smart watch if you have to turn all the features off? I purposely chose this over the Polar Ignite because of the pulse ox but between the battery issues, dismal sleep tracking, I am wishing I had chosen the Polar. :( Unfortunately too late to return now.
