We are finalizing work on a fix for this issue and hope to have this available very soon. I apologize for not having a definitive release date for this and I understand the frustration caused by that.…
Please power cycle your device off and on if you are seeing this symptom. This should resolve this symptom, but if it does not, please post here.
HERE, video demonstration It doesn't stop blinking
It doesn't help, the issue is still there. It gets triggered by recording an activity. The only way to fix it is to turn off/on the watch. It stops until next recording.
It looks like Garmin is always pushing the updates with batches. When someone reports here he's got an update right away there are lots of people which didn't. You can try plugging the cable and updating through the desktop app but I'm not sure there will be any difference.
The update was weird, as I said yesterday I received the bt update and right after the watch booted up I had a toast message with something like: 3 packages had errors and couldn't be installed or something. Today I received the sensor update and it went smooth this time.
My First Avenger Model (which has whole different FW) has not gotten sensor 3.20. And Garmin told me by email to update to it. I did WIFI software update and it said "transfer completed", but it never installs. I also connected to Garmin Express an it said I was up to date. Still showing 2.30..... How to force install of update that may have been transferred to my device?
Well I'll be damned. On my First Avenger I'm still showing sensor 2.30, but it has been fixed. Apparently the software update that transferred over WIFI did something. I've tested it several times, and will also test it after an activity. Take watch off and after a few seconds HR stops. Put watch on and it fires right up. Hope this sticks!
Got a sensor update yesterday and can confirm that it turns off after an activity now :-)
On VA 4 or 4s? Because there is a suspicion that there was no update on 4s and the problem is still there.
Well, crap. Recording an activity brings the problem back. Power cycling the watch fixes it again.....
maybe your sensor still not update yet
