Venu 4 again frozen and inaccurate heart rate

My watch froze again. Now after 38 minutes of a runnining workout. Before it did it was showing an inaccurate heart rate (constantly around 150 when I was running and then 170 when I took a walking break).

Is there a solution to this?

These are basic functions which should work flawlessly!

After many years with Garmin I am considering to return my watch and give a competitor an opportunity.

Please fix this asap.

  • Same here. Every run with Spotify the watch freezes. And Garmin wants to waste my time by offering an exchange of the watch instead of releasing a software update or communicating transparently about it.

  • Same here, run coach, Spotify and headphones --> watch froze (sw 14.12). It's my first Garmin watch, not sure if it was a good decision to switch to Garmin.

  • I have the same problem with my Venu 4. The watch crashes during a running activity. I always play music (Deezer) through the watch during the activity. This is really frustrating for such an expensive watch. I hope a software update will be released soon. I can therefore only advise everyone not to buy a Venu 4 at the moment until this bug is fixed.

  • @garmin support team,

Is there any update for this error?

When can we expect a software update?

It is unacceptable that even basic functions of the watch do not work correctly and that customers are forced to serve as beta testers.

  • I fully agree. For me, the option to store music and podcasts on the watch was the main reason I chose the Venu 4 over the Suunto Race 2.

  • Still not solved as far as I see. They just recommend useless steps as restarting the watch or replacing it while they know that only a software update will help. @Garmin: Any update?

  • Anyone having the issue after updating to 15.16 which just came out?

  • Oui malheureusement

  •   , this error still exists! Even with version 15.16. When will this problem finally be fixed?
