Had the venu 3s since release day 1 and no issues. However since the 8.25 software update I've had it crash on me twice. Watch becomes unresponsive for a while and its difficult to restart. Is this likely to be a software issue or hardware?

Support told me to revoke the location permission of the garmin connect app, the issue is tied to that they claimed, and after doing this I've not had any crashes in about a week. Looking promising!…

I have opened a case this morning, but no response yet. Watch is freezing daily now and HRM sensor stops working. It is unusable at this stage.
Same issues. Had no issues but after update, it freezes, crashes, doesn’t measure heart rate. A full reset sorts it for a while but again crashes and unresponsive.

For me left swipe no longer works to bring up Apps after 8.25.
Unrelated to 8.25 FW, the lack of haptic feedback when selecting an activity is a PITA. There's a short delay before the UI updates, and together with no haptic feedback leaves me wondering if my button press was identified. V1, V2, V2+ didn't have this issue AFAICR.
Hi. Same issues on Venu 3. Froze twice already since this update and it is very difficult to reset. Watch becomes completely unresponsive.
I'm experiencing the exact same issues since update to 8.25. The crashes, freezing and lack of heart rate data seem to be more frequent overnight. I wake up to a unresponsive watch with no data collected and no morning report. Also, it appears to really drain the battery when this happens. Has anyone seen a response from Garmin yet?

Not on this forum. I would contact Garmin Support directly either to start a new case or add yourself to an existing case. If you're in the US, the offices will not open until Monday, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. So you will not be able to use the chat or call options until then. However, you can use the email option or send an email to [email protected]. In my experience, email typically takes 2 to 5 business days to get a response.

A customer cannot add other customers to a case. You'll need to contact Garmin Support.
