Will the venue 2/2s get a relevant update? I keep seeing how other watches receive new features but my venu 2s mainly has the same things it had when I bought it :/ I'd be happy with that smart alarm thing that should be easy to implement

While I don’t doubt hardware can be an issue. Garmin are a company who limit features for differentiation . I’m in no doubt the Venu 2 has the hardware to run most features except maps.
Garmin…
I start to regret that I decided to get Garmin's watch again, before I had FR245, but I wanted something with the OLED and more smart screen, but I see that Garmin supports the whole new Venu series much…

Or should give us hope if more and more devices…
All the rhetoric that Venu is a lifestyle watch made sense a few years ago, but not now in 2022, where lifestyle watches are getting more and more options from sports watches and their accuracy is improved, such excuses are nonsense. As of today, Venu 2 looks weak compared to the competition of lifestyle smartwatches, because they simply offer more at a similar price

Or should give us hope if more and more devices are getting relevant updates maybe by chance they remember they also have the venu models...
Nothing worthy even in the Alpha Version. “Disc Golf”, Was a crowd claiming that?
I’m sure disc golf is a fun sport but very niche.
it’s sad that the watch has been left behind already.
I'm relatively sure that disc golf is not a niche sport anymore.

I’ve jus played it in the PS4; yes, it has probably gained popularity, nevertheless that’s not what I expected for an Alpha Version.
True, the developement for the Venu 2 is certainly lacking. At least it's stable compared to the other lines.
Can't answer the question, just want to add that I would really appreciate getting the overnight HRV feature.
A bit of a luxury problem, that I have it on my Fenix 6, but not that I don't have it on the V2 I can't switch between the two, without loosing the history of the HRV
Its disappointing because the Venu 2 was the springboard for the new Elevate 4.0 platform but it's lagging behind other newer watches when it comes to features. There's no reason Garmin couldn't add the newer stuff that is available on other 4.0 watches other than that they don't care. They just want to keep chasing the money on newer products.
I love my Venu 2 but I am disappointed
