  • faced another problem.  in the morning the clock turned off by itself.  no training was started.  the power button did not work.  the clock did not answer.  I was able to start the watch with just a quick press on the power button several times.  watch boot up.

  • The screen brightness granularity is better but the lower brightness still disturbs the eyes while on a completely dark environment.
The auto screen brightness should have the same granularity as the manual.
Also a week and weekend sleeping hours would be great instead of maintaining the same sleeping hours everyday which is not usual (and could potentially add to battery savings for those who use AOD).
Confirmed that the PulseOx glitch has been fixed.

  • I had the same problem, and if you look at the Facebook group, there's several others that seem to have the problem. I didn't figure out what it was that was causing it, as I returned the watch thinking it was a problem with the Hardware.  I sort of wish I had kept it now, but it will be replaced. Much better than the Samsung Galaxy watch 3 I have now.

  • could you turn the watch back on?

  • Manual brightness changes dependent on ambient light level!

This behaviour is what I would call auto brightness.

    Try this

Set display to Manual brightness 10%

In a dark room use gesture to turn on the display. Note the low (not dim) brightness level.

Whilst the display is on (may need to increase timeout) move to a bright place eg sunlight through a window and notice how the display brightness increases and decreases when the watch is moved away from the sunlight

I would like Garmin to provide  a description of how manual brightness works and also how auto brightness works, as I only see 10 levels vs 3 levels as the difference in the two modes.

Surely there is more to it than that?

  • So far no response from Garmin.

Somebody at Garmin decided how the new manual brightness will work. Presumably this got implemented.

Surely, Support can get a description of manual brightness as currently implemented?

    Good customer Support would respond

  • I've also noticed that the widget glance for water intake no longer shows the bar of progression on how much water you have taken so far. You have to deep dive into it to get the info.

  • I submitted a bug report and got a response.

  • After installing the 4.60 update I noticed this, the wifi does not work, the autonomy has significantly decreased and during a walk today the GPS is stopped for a while and then restarted. Not convinced by this update, I went back to version 3.48 which suits me better for now.
Excuse my English, I use a translator.
  • Do you have 3.48 or 3.51?
