Venu 2 reboots during activity

Hi,

I have been completing my first non-benchmark run on Garmin coach 10k programme.

My device (Venu 2) has restarted itself several times in the last 30 second of the cool-down (each time coming back to 30 seconds left). After the third restart, I have finished the activity manually at about 5 seconds left to avoid one more restart. I had started a regular run after finishing the previous activity immediately since I had 1.5 km to home.

This is my first Garmin device (a gift) which I really like, but I am worried that there is an issue with it and I don't have the receipt because it was a gift. The latest firmware is installed (Software is up to date — Version 3.24.0.0)

Hi all! For those of you having this issue, is the watch freezing then you are having to reset or is the watch resetting on its own?

Resetting directly.

I installed the new software beta version and seems it is fixed already. Great!!

It resets on its own. There is NO period of watch being frozen before the reset.

i had a similar issue a few days ago.
i went for a run, and when i looked at the watch: black screen, i could not push any button, tap screen: nothing.
But, the music kept playing (watch --> bluetooth headphones) during the whole run.
in the end, i managed to restart the watch by long pression on one of the button (i don't remember exactly, but it was hard to reset...)

It resets on its own. I finished nearly a 9,6 km run today an it stoppen 30 meters before the end. This happens since a week or two. Before it just finished workout and I was able to either finish it or go for a new lap.

really, really annoying and frustrating.

I had similar problem today when running for the first time with my new Venu 2s, it rebooted itself at the end of the workout all of sudden. I had to switch it on again and it said that "sensor update" or something, then luckily after that I was able to save my workout. I hope it doesn't happen anymore.

Hi Amber - any news on this? I had the same issue happen yesterday. Pretty disheartening when you can't tick over the final 10m to finish a workout goal without the watch restarting!
