When answering phone call on phone, the call is rerouted to Venu 2 Plus

When people call me and I respond to the call on my iPhone (not on the watch), the call starts but my iPhone keeps vibrating and I cannot hear anyone and they cannot hear me. Restarting the watch and iPhone works but it's indeed highly unpractical. Turning off Bluetooth on the iPhone also solves the issue, but again not why I bought the watch... I am on iPhone 12 (iOS 15.4.1), Venu 2 Plus FW 8.12 (it tells me it's up to date)

I have the same issue. Garmin try to take over the sound and mic even though is chosen phone or speaker. It effects gap in sound transmission and people even drop the call because can not hear me! It’s frustrating. How turn of this functionality of venue to not use it’s a speaker bad mic?! P.S both sw are up to date.

I have the same issue, could you support me? Otherwise I’ll return it back to shop. I’m really not happy with this watch!

Did you get this problem fixed. The same thing is happening with me iPhone and Venu 2 Garmin Watch.

They solved that with the latest version of watch software. So just update it.

however there is still few seconds gap in sound which is annoying. So if you want peace of mind return it to the shop and buy Apple Watch.

Thanks but mine is really bad. The phone call can be up to 20 second delay from me answering to finally being able to have a conversation. In the meantime, people have hung up and then another issue when I try to call then back ....... I don't think the update has helped me at all. and yes, I need to consider my options. When I think about it. it wasn't like this when I first got my Garmin. I think it started about 4 months ago ??

Can you please tell me what software version you are on? Press and hold the bottom right button and scroll down to the gear wheel. Then scroll down to System > About.

Any update on this issue. Just got my venu 2 plus in October and this is impacting use. I work on the phone a lot for work and have 'solved' this by disabling bluetooth during the day. This is not ideal It also takes over calls from Teams too.
