Lily watch stops working after walking

I’ve had the Lily watch for two days now and it is apparent that the product has many issues that have not yet been solved.

In my case I noticed that the first time I used it while walking the watch stopped working after only a couple of minutes. 

Now the screen turns on and off irregularly and at this moment is completely off. I do not have the charger on me at all times, so this is quite bothersome. 

My question is why Garmin has not solved this problem after months (apparently I see the same complaints here from months ago), and if it cannot be solved by a software update, why keep selling a watch that is not only expensive but does not fulfill its purpose, which is helping monitor daily activity. 

The software version I have now is 5.3, I think it is the latest one.

If the problem cannot be solved I will have to return the watch
