S2 Body Fat not accurate - Index S2 Smart Scale - Health & Wellness - Garmin Forums
We are aware of the issue and…
Well.. let's be realistic... do they want to spend time maintaining software on a $150 scale or a watch that costs between $1000 and $2400 ?
Realistic? My $1500 watch and $1000 Edge…
What am I doing wrong here?
You've bought the Garmin Index S2.
I am still hoping a little that n Q1 2023 the body fat problem with the S2 smart scale will be solved.
As my old S1 scale is not very reliable anymore I have to decide for a new scale within the next few months.
Currently I am looking for a withings model...
I am also quite disappointed with the progress of the issue

Hahaha. I think your onto something.
Returned and got my money back. Not good Garmin
Return. No way Garmin will fix this scale.
chances are the only thing you did wrong was to trust garmin - there is a massive, widespread issue with these scales being way off on body composition and although garmin said they were working on a fix, that was about a year ago so highly dubious. in the meantime, they keep selling them despite knowing them to be unable to provide the functionality marketed.
