Based on all the posts about inaccurate body fat %, I'm guessing this is just another example of messed up body fat % on the index s2 scale. But, this is a bit strange as the body fat % had been working fine for me up until the point when I switched to a high carb (50%), low fat (20%) diet. As soon as a switched my body fat % jumped 1% yet my waist shrunk. That makes absolutely no sense. How could my body fat go up and belly fat go down?
Garmin-Kevin Is this possibly related to the already known issues with body fat %? Theoretically, a high carb diet causes glycogen to get stored in the muscles, possibly replacing water storage. Is the scale assuming anything but water is fat?
