Unable to Install Software Update 2.12

Mine isn't updating automatically and I prefer not to do an hard reset.

Just an update: Support gave me the force update process (remove one battery, hold reset, insert battery, click reset several times to scroll through info, begin usual WIFI pairing / updating process), but the scale doesn't seem to want to updated fully without turning off (it tends to turn off even when periodically tapped).

Anyone able to successfully jump from 2.08 to 2.12 doing this? I'm kinda hoping they just roll out a 2.13 to solve all these issues...

I did not follow that procedure exactly (removing the battery, etc.). In my case, doing a reset then rejoining the network and phone seemed to get it to go to 2.12. Pretty much the way it states in the manual.

Definitely tried that a bunch. The "updating process" of the gear icon, with WIFI / updating icon, probably hangs out for 10 - 15 minutes, before it turns off, even with tapping, and then no update or pair. I've tried clearing phone Connect cache, resetting networks, removing devices, etc.

Guess I need to step up my IT knowledge. =]

It did take a long time to complete the update. Couldn't tell if anything was happening or not. I just stopped watching it and came back to it a few hours later and voila. 

Hmm, thanks. My scale doesn't seem to want to stay on longer than 15, even with tapping. =[

i pressed the reset button ..connected via bluetooth ...then went to devices S2 Scale ...went into the WLAN bit and pressed test ...this kicked in the firmware download 

Still on 2.08. Scale just doesnt want to download and install 2.12. Anyone else here with this issue?

I dont want to master reset and set up from the scratch. :-(

That didn't work for me, not even a master reset did the trick. This scale is a piece of trash.
