Unable to Install Software Update 2.12

Hello, yesterday I saw in garmin connect information about the software update for my scala s2, update to version 2.12, but this notification has disappeared and the scala is still 2.08

has Garmin canceled this update?

Same exactly situation here in Italy

Firmware version still @ 2.08 despite the fact that, a couple of days ago, on connect.garmin.com there was a message that says that 2.12 update is available (now this message disappeared)

But I was able to enable new "power / weight ratio" function but there is no difference in the display of the scale. Also "Day / Month" display no longer works correctly now (it shows "Month / Day" format despite that related setting is set as "Day / Month" on connect.garmin.com dedicated section)

Garmin has obviously reset settings for all users.

For me the solution was to change the setting to "Month / Day" in Connect and save it. Then change the setting back to "Day / Month" and save again.

Ok, thanks! What about 2.12 update?!?? I see that someone fixed the issue resetting the scale but honestly I don’t want to do it. I’ll wait some more days, maybe garmin will prepare a new release to fix this version issue

My scales are still on 2.08 despite daily use/sync. Anyone else still waiting? I don't really want to have to reset the scales in order to receive the update.

I got the 2.12 update by doing the following steps:

connect the scale to your phone by pressing the reset button,

open Garmin connect app

in the common settings of the scale remove your wlan-network and add it again.

Scale connects to the network and loads the update.

(if scale hangs while connected to the app: disable bluetooth on your phone for a short time then switch it on again)

I doubt this method will work if the Connect Portal itself shows V2.08 as current. For me, no update to 2.12 is announced or pending.
