Hi all,
I am currently getting to know what’s it like to run with a Garmin and I’ve been loving it.
However i have some questions regarding heart rate monitoring and the associated ranges.
I am aware that naturally, my heart rate goes up more quickly than the average, meaning I could go to around 110bpm for a fast walk on flat terrain, or 180bpm when running at what seems to be a comfortable pace.
I a wondering if it’s possible to adapt, or to perform some kind of test with my Garmin (Fenix 6 Pro) to adapt the ranges, to stop landing in the last heart rate area whenever I run. I feel like this distorts the intensity of my runs as perceived by my Garmin.
What are your thoughts?
