Edge 830 turning off and on mid ride?

Same issue here. I noticed that Varia was not connected. Suddenly the 830 turn off and on again twice. Third time when i saved the ride.

I'm facing with the same issue. The unit drops the HR and power data for a few seconds, mid-ride. Also switches off randomly (happens at every 2-3 rides), which is very annoying.

Newest Firmware 9.75, did a reset already, because I had a battery drain issue as well - that one has been solved with it at least. No change with HR + power drop and random switch-offs...

I am facing the same now as well. My Garmin is restarting on almost every ride. Anyone found a solution to it?

Mine has also being doing this for a few months. It restarts as if the ride has ended and I have to press the start button to keep the ride going. I thought it was a glitch on a route but it happens even without a route. I can patch the missing route and distance by correcting these on Strava but it's very annoying if I am on a climb and using climb pro.

Me too , it is really annoying. Even worst yesterday when restarting it changed itself my route to shortcut to the end ( the route was an elongated curve ) 

I have exactly the same problem on a recently purchased Edge 830...what gives ??
