I am facing the same now as well. My Garmin is restarting on almost every ride. Anyone found a solution to it?

It doesn't help. But I have this issue with my 830 also. SInce I got it. once in a few month it restarts mid ride. But it' doesn't lose all the activity data, only the physio data like water loss, exercise load, callories etc. All the gps, speed, distance data isn't lost. Device restarts, loses a few meter of data in that time period, but continiues to navigate and saving data. As a side effect the course navigation as then broken, so I have to restart the course. But since it happens once in a few month, I haven't contacted Garmin because of this issue.
I have exactly the same problem - been doing this for probably a year now. i contacted Garmin, they advised I do a reset. Hasn't resolved the issue. Sometimes it does this 2 - 3 times in one ride, sometimes it doesn't do it at all. It seems to be more prevalent for me on colder days...battery is generally fully charged.
Exact same for me. Did it twice during a ride yesterday. Nothing I've tried so far seems to fix it

the "fix" from garmin support was to reset the device. which didn't help at all
