All my sensors (Speed / cadence / heart rate )repeatedly disconnects and then reconnects during indoor activity

Hello,

During my indoor activity using my edge 830 in indoor mode (no GPS) connected to my scwinn IC8 bike sensors (speed and cadence) + heart rate monitor polar OH1 I am repeatedly seeing the disconnection of my 3 sensors during activity. It's very frustrating !!!! I tried a factory reset of my edge but no difference . I am using the version 9.10 and I've seen that a beta version 9.24 is available, but I didn't see any sensor related fixing in the release note .

In the error log file I see this error several times:

  • Same here. Very annoying.

  • Same here, very annoying.

I bought the 830 a few weeks ago to use it to track my cycling actuvities - but now I seems I have to use the my vivoactive 4 instead and only bought a quite expensive GPS-tracker

  • If you cycle indoors (which many of us might do) the sensor is needed.

  • Same here. Very annoying.

  • I used also my forerunner 735XT watch, it works fine with all my sensors . Try to disable the phone connection from your edge device and fingers crossed Fingers crossedthat GARMIN will deliver us a quick fix !

  • Thanks, I'll try this workaround. It would not bother me indoors, but when outside I always use Livetracking.

Sure, I could track the ride with my vivoactive as Well, as I did before buying the edge. But that should not be the final solution.

I bought the edge because I thought if everything is from Garmin (speed and cadence are from Garmin as Well) everything would fit...

    Fingers crossed...

  • I tried but failed...

    During a 20-km-Indoor-activity I counted 20 speed- 1 cadence- and 1 heartrate-Sensor connect/-reconnect. Despite having disabled bluetooth.

  • Same problem here, with an Edge1030+ and a BLE connected sensor.
