Di2 battery level display used to be shown as a number, now it's an icon. Can I change it back?

Agree with what’s being said here , the new battery level icon is a backwards step.
The actual percentage figure was great and to change it with this latest update is just daft and obviously programmed…

I used "di2 battery" for my E-bike with steps e8000, is horrible to loos the % value
i hope it will come back, i dont wont buy a "ew-en100"

AGREE : this new icon is unreadable for most people. Please let the user choose the most appropriate data field regarding his screen size or his eyesight quality. Ok for a new display as a new option, and the previous display (v8.20) as another one.

Hello,

My shimano display E8000 is not compatible with Garmin so i can't get ebike infos.

That's why i used the Di2 percentage value as number to get a precise e8000 ebike battery status (as Di2 battery is the one of the ebike).

I have two fields to get this new icon style value :(

It would be nice to have one for the % value and one for the icons version.

Please get % back.

and when like me you use it to get the ebike battery status, it's fu.... useless to have a 5 bar battery icon. I already have this stupid representation on the Shimano E8000 display :)

even with a 1030, you have to pay attention to see how many bars you have.

I don't understand why they spend dev time to release this kind of useless feature. Whaooo a gear icon + a 5 bar battery icon.

in my case, i'm using this field to get a precise battery level of my ebike as the Shimano E8000 display is not compatible with Garmin.

It worked fine as Di2 battery is the eBike battery

Seems to me they should do a little marketing research in advance rather than irritate customers. Wouldn't hurt to update their user manual too.. which is never done..

i also have a Shimano E8000 for which the display is not compatible with garmin eBike functionality.

As the Di2 battery is the eBike battery, we had a precise percentage of the eBike battery.
