Di2 battery level display used to be shown as a number, now it's an icon. Can I change it back?

This is true for a lot of Garmin UI on 530/830 smaller screen devices but as Garmin testers seem to only use 1030+ devices, (with twice the screen size and better resolution), when (if) they test they don't notice a problem, I would always prefer a numerical value rather than an often cryptic and tiny icon,

Have a look at some of the Connect IQ apps / widgets / fields and you might find one that preserves the numerical value display or has a better / clearer icon.

Thank you for your reply. Maybe they need testers that are in their 50`s and need cheaters. Lots of riders in this age group.

What software version are you using? My battery level is a number on version 8.20.

Wait, so the data field that is currently a percentage is going to become an icon?

A small battery icon beneath a gear icon. Difficult to see while wasting precious screen space. Makes no sense.

They do realize these things aren't cell phones right? I mean the "swipe down for notifications" was cell-phone-like enough, but why can't we just read a number?

The improvement is really for systems with multiple batteries such as SRAM
