Does your phone stay connected to the 830 / 530 ?

Like the title says...this is why I ditched my previous Edge. Has anyone with previous 1030 issues had better luck with the 830 or 530? I really want to keep using my varia vision and radar but this is a huge deciding factor before laying down the cash.

With my 530, I experience phone drops, reboots, loss of connectivity to GPS, and ANT+ sensors when it is connected to my iPhone X.

I think the solution my be to disable Bluetooth until Garmin resolves…

I have massive issues with Edge 1030. It just never connects no matter how I connect it via GCM. I tried everything.... :-( This is also why I'm getting the 830. I can't take 1030 anymore...

Where my 1030 wouldn't stay paired more than a few days before another 15 minute pairing battle -

The 830 has retained the pairing for me so far. Granted, it's rained every weekend the past 4 months…

i am using everything with ANT+, only mobile phone -> Edge using BT, anyway my Forerrunner 945 is connected too with BT, but think more of us using Garmin watch and Edge together.

we have to deactivate BT every ride on our Garmin watches when using Edge and mobile phone together?

I changed my Edge 1000 for a brand new 830. I never experienced any problems with iPhone connectivity with the 1000 and rides were uploaded even before I could park my bike (BT and WIFI were on). With the 830, none of them is working properly: constant loss of phone connectivity and rides are only uploaded when I open GCM manually. Thought I would get a better product...
