Latest 26.18 gives completely wrong climb rates. I run same roads many years and a few Garmins before. After the update the Edge 540 went a mess! Anyone else notice that?

Hey Garmin,
The new update didn't change anything. I downloaded a third party app, as suggested by someone here, and it works just fine. At this point I'm kinda losing patience to be honest, thinking to exchange my device. Why is there no offical statement from Garmin and why wasn't it fixed with the recent update?
It's like, are you Garmin guys even checking the Forum??

I had the same experience. Rode up and down a pretty flat stretch of road along a river today, was constantly shown a 2 % decline in both directions. I can't believe this. Changed over to a 540 from a 530 because the altimeter / gradient readings went completely nuts all of a sudden, and now this.
Went for a ride yesterday after upgrading to version 27.13 and it fixed the gradient percentage problem.
I've been on 27.13 on my way back (did the update during a pause mid-ride) and pretty much experienced the same behavior as before. I'll need to test this on another route that I know very well, I'm not sure when I'll have the chance to ride it though.
No changes from the old version 26.18
