    hi,

care to share the make and type of your speed sensor ?

    placed front or back ?

    paired ant or ble ?

was the non stable speed during the whole ride or just on that part of the ride ?

what kind of street surface were you on at this time ?

  • Hello, i use a bundle speed sensor 2, connected over ant+, placed on back hub like before, the surface was flat no holes, and this is all two days rides, if speed up speed is increased no variation only when i riding on same speed

    found good install info

I Am Getting Inaccurate Speed Readings from My Garmin Bike Speed Sensor

If the Garmin Bike Speed Sensor (BSS)  or Speed Sensor 2 is not providing accurate speed information, review the following steps which will solve most problems:

    1. Ensure the device is configured with the correct wheel size. This setting is typically automatically set by the sensor. Refer to the device Owner's Manual for details on wheel size and circumference.

    2. Remove any magnets installed on the bicycle.

    3. Place the sensor on the front wheel of the bicycle. This will move the sensor furthest from any components which may be magnetized.

    4. If the sensor must be placed on the rear wheel (indoor training), place the unit with the sensor's LED closest to the cassette. This moves the magnetic sensor further from any potentially magnetized components.

    5. Leave the sensor stationary for 3 minutes after installing it, and then try again. This allows the sensor to re-calibrate its internal settings to allow for bike-specific differences and minimize the effect of any magnetized components on the bike.

    6. In some geographic locations in Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, or other locations, the earth's magnetic field is relatively weak and oriented in a north-south direction. This makes it challenging for the BSS to accurately detect wheel rotations when moving in an east-west direction.

fulcrum racing zero DB carbon using 1,5 year

    • and last the chain make and type ?

    KMC x11

    • what make and kind of cadance sensor ? from the bundle ?

yes i use speed sensor from the bundle, i have one more and will try another one

    connected over ant+
    • also connected to the phone ?

yes connection to phone was BLE , sensor was connected over ant+

there is one other user who has more or less the same speed variation

    i will reed this one

one more thing what i will do and write after , put to recalibrate wheel size, to check is ok , if is not ok i will disable speed sensor to check if only on gps will be ok.

If someone have other idea let me know
