Varia Error 0:9, 0:A, 0:5 and 0:FC on the latest firmware 13.14

Welcome to the crappy garmin software updates. 

fun fact - EU mandates increased levels of driver safety/assist features since 2022. That translates to every new car having such radar on board and triggering Varia errors with undismissable modals.

Recently it got so bad for me that it's pointless to clear them. Almost every car that passes is a trigger. On top if traffic lights have car/bike detection for the green wave it also triggers those errors. That will soon mean every crossing on my common routes.

Garmin Support keeps insisting it's not a problem.  It's so infuriating.

Yeah there’s no point posting loads of screenshots. We all know it happens every time the varia gets overloaded by a radar source

SO annoying the Edge doesn’t clear the message automatically but I just resigned myself to tapping the screen like a lab rat.

It's important to make as much noise about this until it's solved.
