Had this error pop up twice on my Edge 530 on today's ride. Anyone knows what it means?
I have an RTL515 that's on the latest firmware (3.32).
Thanks

Please Garmin, remove this useless message, it is more dangerous than anything else to have this big warning message !
Never seen during 2 years and since 9.1 FW, it pop up too !
It appears that the introduction of code to support the new Varia RCT715 screwed up the performance of previous versions. While I don't get the 0:9 error, I've noticed another error since the 9.x firmware…
imho, firmware older than 9.1 didn't display this message. Since 9.1, this useless message is always displayed and really annoying.
And Garmin says nothing about it :-(
I get the same error to since updating my edge 530 firmware. In the same location each time.
Same location for me too, that’s why I am thinking to an interaction with speed control radar. And sometimes when a car is behind me (with a emergency brake radar ?)…
I get this at least 2x per ride and it started a couple of month ago. I swipe to clear and it seems to work ok after that, so it must be a temporary thing. Annoying though
Garmin !!! Can you do something for this problem, Varia is useless at this state of bugs !
During climb of Croix de Fer, it show this message > 50x , very very annoying !!!!
Fix this now ! There where bo problems with FW < 9.1 !
No cars, noboby during the climb, only mountains ...
I raised this issue 7 months ago and there hasn't be a single comment from a Garmin representative. It's clearly not an isolated incident. Their silence only makes me suspicious. Has this error always been there but wasn't assigned a code until (relatively) recent Edge firmware? Or is the increase of vehicle radars on the roads causing the device to saturate more frequently?
I had it trigger the other day when going past a temporary traffic light which, I believe, uses radar.
Problem occurs even with no cars around. This error display is useless and wasn’t displayed before 9.1FW
It really is very annoying and I wish Garmin would acknowledge it and fix it. 3 of us riding on Sunday, all with radar, all got the message but at different point throughout a 100km ride and never together, couldn't figure any pattern to it
It appears that the introduction of code to support the new Varia RCT715 screwed up the performance of previous versions. While I don't get the 0:9 error, I've noticed another error since the 9.x firmware came out - my RTL 515 is set to auto mode and starts when activity starts. Every once in a while the tail light does not work.... The radar does, but the light does not work at all. Sometimes switching from auto to another mode and then back to auto again helps - sometimes, but not always. The only sure way to fix this is to remove the Radar/lights from the sensor and pair the device with the Edge again.
