Hello all, we understand there are many members of the community here who are seeing crashes/freezes/reboots during activities after installing the latest update. This is being investigated internally, but we wanted to request some help from the community to aid that search.
We ask that responses be in the below format only to help us speed up the effort to look into this. If you have thoughts to share in general, please use the existing threads as we may delete posts that are not in the below format to keep this thread cleaner.
For users who are willing to offer information to help us look into crashes on 13.13, please respond in the below format with all requested information.
- Do we have your permission to email you outside of the forums? (required to ask before we can do so)
- Do we have your permission to view your Garmin Connect account if needed?
- If so, can you please share dates where these errors have occurred if you saved and uploaded these activities
- What were you doing when the freeze/crash/reboot occurred?
- Were you navigating a course?
- If so, was this course a .GPX, .FIT, or .TCX file?
- What was the source of this course file? (sharing public links to this file is a great help if possible)
- What map(s) do you have installed/enabled?
- If this is a 3rd party map, please share information including website source, version number, regional coverage you are using.
