Touchscreen freezes 1050

First ride witth the new 1050.

TouchScreen totaly freezes for complete ride. Even when powered of and on several times.

No reaction or whatever  with gloves off.

Taken of the mount in home everything seems te be allright temperature outside was 4 degrees above freezing point

Didnt have this with the 1040 solar, 1030 and the older models.

What tofdo now?

    No, my issue is 100% temperature related and it seems a large majority of people on this have the same. I'm not sure why this is still unresolved at this point to be honest. I sent my original unit into them months ago for testing and have heard nothing of substance from garmin regarding the issue as of yet. It seems to continue to be added to other complaints that are of a very different nature. I was very optimistic at first but that optimism is quickly fading along with my satisfaction. At least it's going out of the cold season so it won't be a problem till next winter. Assuming I stay with Garmin.

    Same for me, now that the temperature is higher than 5°C I don't have the touchscreen problem anymore. When I had the issue, as suggested by some people here, stopping the tour, turning off and on the screen could help to have some response.

    Experienced the same problem at temperatures of about 10 degrees Celsius with a 1050 bought two weeks ago, SW 12.18

    Wow that's not great to hear. So far I have had zero issues at temps above 32F on my original 1050 and the new one they sent me. Hopefully that continues. I'm also on 12.18
