Notes:

  • For any issues that you encounter please fill out the form included in the download and attach it to an email to [email protected]. Please note that you may not get a response to the email unless we need more information on the issue you report.
  • Although this software is believed to be reliable, it has not yet been released for production and should be used at your own risk.

Changes made from version 6.24 to 6.26:

  • Fixed software crashes caused by encrypted CIQ programs that are no longer valid.
  • Fixed a couple of device stability issues.

Changes made from version 6.22 to 6.24:

  • Fixed automatic maximum heart rate detection.
  • Added the ability to perform the FTP test with power data coming from a trainer.

Changes made from version 6.10 to 6.22:

  • Changed gear battery data field to display percentage remaining if available, which affects Shimano Di2 single-battery systems.
  • Updated sensor low battery prompts to differentiate between low and critical status.
  • Fixed issue where distance could stop accumulating.
  • Fixed issue where text message sender names would display incorrectly.
  • Another point is that actually for the first time Hammerhead stole the thunder from Garmin with this new functionality that they have released

So maybe Garmin must act on this one

But DC Rainmaker released an review about the climb pro functionality across devices (Wahoo , Garmin, Hammerhead) before they have release this functionality , and for sure he has it as beta for several months

  • I had a freeze last week - it coincided with cancelling a Garmin Segment that came up. It was just as though I'd hit the off button! It came back on showing the delete/save ride screen and all distance etc was still there. I wasn't quick enough to video it from my phone otherwise I would have sent that to Garmin.

  • I really hope they ARE focusing on the x40 range - because I've bee nreporting problems with my 1030+ since a week after I brought it from Garmin last October! I'm certainly going to be asking for an upgrade! I'd ask fora refund on mine now but I use the Varia Vision HUD and it doesn't (as far as i know) integrate with any other makers head unit :-( . The stages head unit looks appealing (if you run a power meter) and I think they are about to bring out a new head unit too!

  • Follow the instructions that came with the download folder :-)
