They are not solving bugs since 2009 , its a loop with never ending story , implement new feature but not solving old bugs

Don't agree, they are still solving bugs and improve compatibility with newer OS's and drivers, even for my old Montana 680 which also has is (small) issues, but compared to say 6 years ago it now just works. Same with my Fenix 5 and 6.

For anyone still looking for the OPs "insight" I had recently posted this in the 830 forum, probably as much as we will know until something is actually released, mid 2022 perhaps?

If Garmin doesn't improve the display technology in next device, I think I'll eventually move on to the Hammerhead Karoo. (And if they don't raise the price to $1,000 like the Fenix 7)

Id just like a 1040 that works out of the box. the Edge1000 was not without its faults but incline was accurate it was just getting slow. There are some great metrics on the 1030+ but its never really worked 100%. I would like a 1040 that works and i would like to get a trade in for the 1030+ as i feel like a better tester, not someone that spent a lot of money on the best product Garmin has.

If you are a Garmin customer then you should know that is not possible

They will release it with dozen of functionality then they will make it stable after the launch , this was from 2010 when I bought first garmin 

To be honest Edge 1030 was very very stable at the beginning ,

There was a huge problem from the beginning which took them almost 2 years to solve:
the remote was not stable if phone was connected. You could use either remote or phone connection.
