completely agree, unfortunately the setting of the screens from the smartphone does not seem to be on the agenda. Personally, once the screens are configured, I don't spend my time modifying them. so even if Garmin is not at the level of Wahoo on this point, it is objectively not very embarrassing

I am hoping it is as the 955 got it.  But I woukd prefer better navigation.  I agree once profiles are setup it does not matter.  What would be awesome would be sending routes from Google maps on our phones to the edge. 

If that's possible it would 1up the Karoo 2 navigation.

Smart phone settings would be amazing - but the one thing I LONG FOR is for them to resolve all of the 1030 plus issues for those that have persevered with it :-) I certainly hope none of the issues go across to the 1040! ;-)

If Google is translating correctly, this implies some additional app configuration functionality, "unparalleled" navigation system, and solar will extend battery life up to 42 minutes per hour of sunlight.

There's quite some time information that there will be two models. Solar will be priced 100 $/€ more.

Very good for those that have multi day riding without charging possibility
