Garmin Express- continued prompts to update maps

I selected Europe as the only region I want to install on my device.

However, GE keeps insisting on informing me that I can put additional maps onto the device- is there any way to remove this prompt?

This has been escalated with new Express logs on the latest version. I will update this thread when I have more information to share.

I have called Garmin Support it's an issue with Garmin Express, I was told it should be fixed in the next GE update.

Seeing this as well. Tells me I have 5 maps to update. Over and over.

I have the same problem; have send an email to Garmin with the following text:

On Garmin Express several updates (5) are available for the new unit I bought Edge1030plus After installing the files, the updates are still reported in Garmin express as updates to install Are the updates installed yes or no, and why is the “install” / install all” not removed from Garmin express and the update files as well of course. Please help to solve this problem, because I cannot determine whether the devise maps are updated or not. I have already reinstalled Garmin express but theat did not help

In your Road profile, scroll to Navigation, then maps and you can see which version is installed.

Same issue, even if i've installed all the maps.

Garmin Express continues to tell me to update/install all the maps again and again.

Unmark MaGo77's reply as a suggested answer. It does not solve the reported issue and answers completely different question (how to delete a map).

Same here. Looking forward to the next Garmin Express update then. Hope that solves this problem.

Super annoying indeed! And now my laptop has 30GB of maps installed, as does my 1030 plus, and if I unselect the unneeded maps in GE and click apply? Nothing happens! All maps still there.
